"A great café doesn't just serve food. It gives the neighborhood a reason to slow down."

Boston Bakery — Napoles | CDMX

Boston Bakery is a full architectural remodel of an existing commercial space in the Nápoles neighborhood of Mexico City, transforming a raw, stripped-down interior into a refined and welcoming bakery and coffee shop. The project was delivered under full architectural design, construction documentation, and site supervision, from demolition through opening day.

The design language is confident and deliberate. Deep navy blue millwork anchors the service counter and overhead cabinetry, contrasting against white subway tile walls and a classic black and white checkerboard floor that gives the space a timeless, European café character. A black steel storefront with floor-to-ceiling glazing opens the bakery entirely to the street, blurring the boundary between interior and sidewalk and drawing in passersby with warm pendant lighting and the visibility of the kitchen beyond.

The back of house was fully redesigned to accommodate a professional bakery operation, with industrial deck ovens, exposed ductwork, and service circulation integrated cleanly into the overall spatial sequence. The result is a space where craft is visible, the atmosphere is warm, and every material choice reinforces the identity of the brand
