"Designed for healing. Built for trust."
Hospital San Pío | DIF - State of Mexico Healthcare Institutional
Hospital San Pío is a general hospital designed to deliver full-spectrum medical care within a compact, double-story footprint. The program includes inpatient rooms, a surgical suite, recovery areas, pharmacy, and administrative facilities, organized around a clear circulation spine that separates public, clinical, and service flows.
The architecture prioritizes legibility and calm. A crisp white volume with a flush facade and minimal ornamentation projects cleanliness and confidence from the street. The main entrance is anchored by a bold navy signage band, giving the building immediate identity without excess. Inside, marble-pattern porcelain tile, recessed ceiling lighting, and full-height curtain partitions create an environment that feels considered and reassuring rather than institutional.
The surgical suite is equipped with a C-arm fluoroscopy unit, dual ceiling-mounted surgical lights, and a Draeger anesthesia workstation, all housed within a clean-room envelope designed to meet NOM-016-SSA3 healthcare facility standards. Patient rooms feature wall-mounted medical headboards with integrated gas outlets, nurse-call systems, and adjustable over-bed tables, balancing clinical functionality with a sense of quiet dignity.
